Those of you who have been following my blog for a while, may remember that I love to daydream about Parisian real-estate… well one of those places where I can do so, virtually, is on the website for real-estate agency Lodgis. They always have great images and take care to describe their products very well, so this allows for a fully fed day dream about my dream appartment.
Recently I found Lodgis on twitter, and exchanged a few tweets with them, and them promptly invited myself on an apartment visit to see first hand one of their amazing properties. Lucky for me they accepted with enthusiasm!
I met Laetitia, who is their web marketing manager, at the address indicated in the 6th arrondissement near Port Royal. The view onto the courtyard while I waited was enough to tell me that I was in for a treat!
The goergeous two bedroom apartment that she showed me has a view onto this beautiful and spacious courtyard…so rare in Paris!
This 2 bedroom apartment was fully renovated in 2010 and is now available from €5,370 for 3 to 6 months, following some recent refurbishments. It can also be rented for a shorter period of time of at least 1 month. It’s a furnished rental, which is the type of rental that Lodgis works with most of the time since they were the first company to propose this kind of regulated rental in Paris over the past ten years. The company was created in 1999 and is now the leading company on the furnished rental market in Paris. They have 40 experienced consultants advise international tenants and buyers who speak in 9 different languages : French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. They are as cosmopolitan as Paris itself!
They even offer some properties for sale, which are generally rentals that the owners decide to finally sell, and they stick with Lodgis since they find that it is easy to work with this agency, and the agency takes great pride in the properties they select, and therefore go to great efforts to make sure they are properly taken care of and presented.
I would love to pick and chose through their properties, but I am not looking for a furnished rental, nor am I anywhere near being able to buy! But I LOVe to dream! Who doesn’t!?! And what a treat to get to see my daydreams up close and personal…
And this place is such a gem…it has one thing that is so rare in Paris…space. Space outside, space inside, light, room, even the bookshelves and cupboards are enough to swoon over!
