Recently I was graciously invited to join a small panel of bloggers for a presentation of the Serge Lutens make-up line and what he calls the “nécessaire de beauté”. Beauty essentials. I love the Serge Lutens boutique at Palais Royal and have purchased and tested several of his perfumes. I love his work for its originality, it’s search for artistry with a palette of scents, and the way his perfumes can whisk me away somewhere else or invoke a striking emotion. So, of course I was curious to discover what he can do with make-up.

Récemment on m’a gracieusement invité à joindre un petit groupe de bloggers bien choisi pour assister à une présentation de la ligne de maquillage de Serge Lutens et ce qu’il appelle le “nécessaire de beauté”. Science et Mer Paris

I was recently invited to a presentation event of Science & Mer Paris products that took place in their lovely offices just be hind the Madeleine.

We were introduced to a brand that holds it’s clout in the scientific research used to create the cosmetics they sell. These laboratories, Science & Mer, produce cosmetics for many other brands (although they are restricted by contract from revealing which ones) for the past 25 years, and they finally decided to create their own brand to be able to profit from all that research and development that they do!

Beauté Bio – Nice and Natural

Back to Bio

I have been wanting to test this beauty salon for some time, but never seemed to find the space in my wallet for it. That is until Groupon offered a deal with them. Oh happy day! I got a one hour session for a fraction of the price, and I enjoyed it so much, I thought I would share this great address with all of you.

A small oasis in the middle of the busy streets of Paris. The ladies who work their are gracious and calming.

The “cabines” are on a lower level, down a narrow staircase, and in a room with a low vaulted ceiling made of the old stones of Paris. Small water fountains decorate the area visually and acoustically.

After a facial or a massage, you can ask to have your make-up touched up. they carry the brand Couleur Caramel. And all the products used for their care is organic and natural.
